Atlanta's Premier Breast Augmentation Center
The female breast is a symbol of beauty and gender identification. As women we all seek to feel and look our best. Our breast develop during puberty and it reaches the full grown size around the age of 16. Sometimes we don’t get the size, shape and symmetry that we desire. Breast enhancement surgery is meant to achieve this goal. It can involve enlarging the breasts with an implant, reshaping them with a lift or the combination of both.
Breast augmentation is mainly done with implants. Currently we have 2 types of implants available: saline and silicone implants. Both are great tools to increase the size of your breast. These implants can be placed in different plains of our chest wall: in front of the pectoralis muscle (sub glandular placement) or behind this muscle (sub pectoral placement). Both options have advantages and disadvantages and you should consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to see what the best choice is for you.
Breast enhancement can also be done with fat injections to the breasts. The fat is extracted from another part of your body, purified and then injected to the breasts. The size of enlargement can be limited but fat transfers are a safe method that can be a great option if you are looking for a small augmentation.
Breast augmentation with a lift is a great option for women who have deflated sagging breasts. This can happen after breast feeding or significant weight loss. The main goal of the breast lift to reposition the nipples and to place the breasts at a higher level on the chest wall. The fullness in the upper pole and the medial cleavage is achieved with the insertion of the implants.
